Giant Eagle: No More Dollar Doubles

Unfortunately, folks, I have some bad news. I've heard through the grapevine from several people that Giant Eagle will no longer be participating in $1 doubles here in Toledo. So...that means no store here will be doing dollar doubles at all. Bummer. :( Since Giant Eagle is so expensive with their regular prices I'll be scratching them off my regular shopping list. I'll still go there (and post deals) when there is a great sale, but lately I'm not seeing much there. I haven't been there in ages and after sneak peek at next week's ad I'll be skipping next week too!

This offer is not good on in-store pickup and you will have to pay shipping. Their shipping is fairly inexpensive and this is my preferred service to use for prints.

This offer expires July 8th. I got this deal from my inbox. I highly recommend signing up for their e-mails because they frequently send exclusive promo codes to people on their mailing list.

Michaels Event Today

Michaels is hosting an Italy event today from 11 AM to 2 PM. The theme is "pizza & suncatchers" (I have no idea what the two have to do with one another but I'm just the messenger! Ha ha!).

Shick Hydro Razor Deal At Target

If you're a Target shopper you may be interested in this. I did want to let you know we did not get this coupon locally in the Toledo Blade. For those of us locally, there is a $3/1 printable here.

Buy 2 Schick Hydro razors @ $6.49, get $5 gift card. Here's what you can do:

Buy 2 = $12.98
Use: (2) $4/1 6-12 SS
Final: $4.98 and get $5 Target gift card.

This will roll so you can buy more Shick Hydros with the gift card and you'll get another gift card. Also, sometimes Target has register system glitches with their gift card deals where the register won't allow coupons. That can be fixed by buying additional non-coupon merchandise that equals or exceeds the dollar amount of coupons you're using (in this case, $8). If I have other things to buy I don't mind this. However, if that's all I'm buying then I'll usually push the issue of having the coupons put through. The ad doesn't advertise "$5 gift card when you buy 2 Schick + an additional $8 worth of merchandise". :)

Mindfield Open Again

If you're interested in survey companies Mindfield is taking new members again. I've been a member for a few years and I really like them. You earn cash for surveys and I only get 1-2 a week, so it's great if you don't want a lot of surveys to take.

They typically only have openings for a day or so before they close membership again.

Cellfire has released some new digital coupons. You load these on your shopper's card and they will come off at the register. These can only be used on one item, so if you buy 10 boxes of cereal the e-coupon will only come off once.
