B1G1 Free Starburst Coupon (CVS)

There is a new B1G1 free Starburst coupon on the CVS website. This is a manufacturer coupon but you may have a hard time getting stores to accept it due to the fact that it has a CVS logo and says CVS instead of manufacturer coupon.

If you have a CVS store near you starting 10-23 these will be on sale 4 for $2 and giving a $1 ECB when you buy 4.

Best of CVS 10-9 to 10-15

There really aren't many CVS deals this week. Here are the few I see.

Pur-Absorb iron supplement $15.99 ($15.99 ECB WYB 1; limit 1)
Use: no coupon available currently, but Pur-Absorb has posted on their Facebook page that they're working on a coupon right now.
Final: $15.99 and get $15.99

**Hallmark or American Greetings cards: Buy 3, get $3 ECB (limit 1)
Use: $1/3 AG here (coupon excludes $.99 cards)
Final: I purchased 3 $.99 cards and received a $3 ECB
**Note: Card brand varies by region, so check your ad. :)

Also, every person is going to be getting a $3 off $10 cosmetic purchase coupon from the coupon machine. You could do a Cover Girl deal similar to this:

Buy 1 Cheekers blush @ $4.99
Buy 1 palette blush @ $6.39
$11.38
If you use the $3 off $10 cosmetic coupon and $8/2 from 10-2 P&G, you'll pay just $.38 for both

Best of CVS 10-2 to 10-8

I'm really not seeing a whole lot this week, but here's what I have:

First note: I know lots of blogs are posting scenarios for the Reach toothbrush deal ($3.99; get $2 ECB) using the $2/1 coupon here. However, the new CVS coupon policy forbids using coupons with other stores' logos. This coupon prints with a Walmart logo, so it's a no-go. In order to do this deal in accordance with the new policy, you'll need to use the $1/1 (some areas got $.50/1) in 7-31 SS or 1-9 SS.

Dawn dish soap $.97
Use: $.25/1 from 10-2 P&G (remember that different areas get different values)
Final: $.72

P&G Deal: Buy $30 worth, get $10 ECB (limit 1)
Tide or Gain $5.97
Puffs $.99
Charmin 16 pack $10
Bounty 12 pack $7.49
Duracell $5.99 (selected)
There are coupons for most of these items in the 10-2 P&G. To be very honest I'm really not seeing much of a deal here. Most of the coupons I'm seeing listed are for $.20 or $.25 Charmin. When the item is $10, that really doesn't do much for me. ;)

The only way I can see this deal might not be bad is if you purchased Tide @ $5.97 and used the $2/1 powder detergent coupon from 9-11 SS (limit 4 per shopping trip).

Pepsico deal: Buy $15 worth, get $5 ECB (limit 1)
Frappuccino 4 packs, Lipton 12 pack or Amp 4 pack $5
Cheetos or Fritos $3
Gatorade or Izze 4 pack $3
Lipton natural tea or Seattle's Best single serve $1
Note: There is a Pepsico insert coming to some areas tomorrow with several coupons for these products.

Candy Deal: Buy $12 worth, get $5 ECB (limit 1)
The only thing I really see of value here is M&Ms at $2.50. There is a $1/1 pretzel coupon from 9-11 RP. There's also a $1.50/2 in the Sept. issue of All You magazine.

All detergent $3.99
Use: $1/1 from 10-2 RP
Final: $2.99

Dove deal: buy $15 worth, get $5 ECB
Dove or Lever Bar Soap 6-8pk or Dove body wash 18-24oz $6
Dove Cream Oil body lotion 13.5 oz $6.99
Dove shampoo, conditioner 12oz or styler 4-9.25oz 2/$6
Dove or Degree body mist 3oz, Ultimate, Ultra clear, Adrenaline 2.6-2.7oz or Dove Men+Care deodorant 3 oz $3.49
Dove Men+Care body wash 13.5 oz $5
Use: there are Dove coupons coming in 10-2, including a B1G1 free and a $1/1 deodorant

Selected Revlon products $12.49 ($4 ECB WYB 1; limit 6)
Use: $5/1 from 9-18 SS
Final: $7.49 and get $4 ECB
Note: remember you may want to split up transactions if you plan to buy multiples. Otherwise you'll receive a $24 ECB if you buy them all at once.

Schick Hydro razor $8.29 ($3 ECB WYB 1; limit 1)
Use: $5/1 printable (no longer available)
Final: $3.29 and get $3 ECB

Skintimate cream shave $1.99 (not positive this is included)
Use: $.75/1 printable that's no longer available. Also a $.55/1 from 9-25 SS
Use: $1/1 CVS coupon here
Final: $.24

Huggies diapers $8.99 ($1 ECB WYB 1; limit 1)
Use: $3/1 Slip-Ons from 9-11 SS or $1.50/1 any Huggies from 9-11 SS
Load: $2/1 SavingStar coupon for Slip Ons here (remember this does not come off at the register; it's added to your SavingStar account to be cashed out later)
Final after Savingstar coupon: $3.99 and get $1 ECB

Revlon nail polish $4.99 ($3 ECB WYB 1; limit 6)
no coupons available
Final: $4.99 and get $3 ECB (remember to buy these separately or you'll get an $18 ECB)

CVS: Free Carmex After Rebate

Carmex has a new rebate for purchases made at CVS. This is valid up to $2.99 and is good till the end of the year. There is also a $.50/1 coupon here to save even more.

Rebates like this are a great way to cash out Extra Care Bucks if they're expiring and there's nothing you want to buy.

Free Candy or Beverage From CVS

CVS is offering a free beverage or candy on their Facebook. All you have to do is 'like' them (if you don't already), then enter your Extra Care card number and your e-mail address. In the past this coupon has taken off $2 automatically and you CAN pair it with manufacturer coupons for the candy or drink.

Note: This offer is not working with IE right now. It is working with Mozilla Firefox.

Best of CVS 9-18 To 9-24

Here are the best CVS deals this week:

Revlon Moon Drops, Super Lusturous or Color Burst Lip products $6.49 ($5 ECB WYB 1; limit 6)
Use: $1/1 from 8-14 SS (this expires the first day of the sale). Some products have $2 coupons attached
Final: as low as $5.49 and get $5 ECB**
**Couple notes about this deal: Be sure to check your ad limit. Different parts of the country are reporting different limits for this promo. Also, you may want to consider splitting this into different transactions. If you buy these all together you will get one $30 ECB. Sometimes those big ones are hard to spend.

These first few deals are Sunday, Monday & Tuesday ONLY. After Tuesday the items will still be on sale but you will not get the ECB. Also, these deals are regional so be sure to check your ad to make sure your area has them.

Gold Emblem candy corn, autumn mix or pumpkins $.99 ($.99 ECB WYB 1; limit 1)
no coupon available

Mars or Wrigley's fun size candy $2.50 ($4 ECB WYB 4; limit 1)
Use: $1/2 from 8-28 RP or $1.50/2 from Sept. All You
Final: as low as $7 for 4 and get $4 ECB

Chex Mix $1.50
Use: $1/2 here
Final: $2 for 2

Cheez-It $2
Use: $1/2 from 9-18 RP
Final: $3 for 2

Use: $.50/1 from July All You

Use: $2/1 coupons on products or $2/1 from 9-18 RP
Final: $8 and get $2 ECB

Carmex hand cream $4.99 ($2 ECB WYB 1; limit 1)
Use: $1.50/1 printable previously available
Final: $3.49 and get $2 ECB

Crest Pro Health Rinse $3.99 ($1.25 ECB WYB 1; limit 2)
Use: $1/1 from 8-28 P&G
Final: $2.99 and get $1.25 ECB

Aquafresh or Sensodyne Iso-Active $4.89 ($2 ECB WYB 1; limit 2)
Use: $2.50/2 Sensodyne from 8-14 RP

Final: ?

Baby Deal: Buy $25 worth, get $10 ECB (limit 1)
Pampers or Huggies jumbo packs $9 (Huggies coupons in 9-11 SS and Pampers coupon in 8-28 P&G)
Playtex baby accessories B1G1 50% off
Similac ready to feed $5
Luvs diapers jumbo pack $7
Pediasure $10 ($2/1 from 9-18 RP)
Pedialyte $4
Gerber Good Start formula 23.2 oz. $20
Huggies wipes 184-216 $6 ($.40/1 from 9-11 SS)

J&J baby products or Desitin $3 ($.50/1 from 9-11 SS, $1.50/1 Naturals here, $1/1 Desitin here)
Gerber snacks $2.50 ($1/2 here)

Personally I think the best deal here is to buy 2 packs of Huggies Slip On diapers and use the $3/1 coupons in 9-11 SS. That will get you to $19.98. Add in $5.02 worth of other items you need and your ECB will print. The ECB will usually print a few cents short so if you're not quite to $25 it will still print hopefully.

Scott Choose-A-Size paper towels 6 ct. $5.99 ($1 ECB WYB 1; limit 1)
Use: $1/1 from 9-11 SS
Final: $4.99 and get $1 ECB

Tide or Gain detergent $5.94 (liquid 19-32 loads, powder 30-40 loads, or 51 oz. fabric softener)

CVS FAQ Change

After CVS updated their coupon policy last week, thy've now updated the FAQ section on their website. There really isn't much notable, except that they now say you can't use a coupon on a free item. I take this to mean that you can't use a $1/2 coupon when something is on a B1G1 free sale.

They still haven't addressed the issue of using a B1G1 free coupon on a B1G1 free sale. The store I shop at has told me until they hear explicitly from corporate that this is not allowed, they'll be permitting it.

New CVS Coupon Policy

CVS has updated their coupon policy. Truthfully I'm not seeing many changes. I also don't see any indication of not being allowed to use a B1G1 free coupon on a B1G1 free sale which is what the rumor mill was saying.

Thanks to my CVS contact Shannon for this info!

$1/1 Skintimate CVS Store Coupon

CVS has just released a new store coupon for $1 off 1 Skintimate Shave Creme. This will be on sale next week (starting 9-4) for $1.99 so if you pair it with the manufacturer coupons that were available for print a while back it will be free. Even without a manufacturer coupon it would still only be $.99.

Remember that although you can print two per computer CVS' registers will only allow 1 of the same coupon per transaction. Anything after 1 will beep and not go through. If you split up transactions using these store coupons you'll be fine.

Thanks, Who Said Nothing In Life Is Free

CVS Coupon Policy Rumor

This is strictly a rumor at this point but I did want to make you aware of it. Some people are hearing rumors that CVS had a policy change as of July 1st. This reported policy change is supposedly no longer allowing the use of a BOGO coupon on a BOGO sale.

Unfortunately CVS has no official coupon policy, although in the past CVS customer service has let people know that it's ok to use a BOGO on a BOGO sale. I haven't had a chance to call them to confirm this is still the case.

I'm only posting this so that when you shop you'll already be informed of potential issues at the register.
